Head Chef at The Painswick
Meet our Head Chef. Jamie has previously worked at several top restaurants including Gary Rhodes at Rhodes 24 as Senior Sous Chef, as well as Head Chef at the Michelin starred Wild Honey with Anthony Demetre. He's also gained experience working for Waitrose Cookery school, creating recipes and teaching classes, and most recently for a restaurant supplier, Flying Fish Seafoods.
Since joining us in 2017, Jamie has put his culinary stamp on the food at The Painswick. Taking inspiration from the changing seasons and past cooking experience, he has created imaginative and understated menus, using fresh local ingredients that pack plenty of flavour and punch.
Perfectly positioned in the southwest, Jamie and his team have some of the finest produce to pick from right on our doorstep allowing seasonally creative and inspiring dishes, including fabulous suppliers like Flying Fish, Huntsham Farm, Shiption Mill, Walter Rose and Sherston Eggs to name just a few!
